We have long managed bank accounts, payments, and securities in a single, centralized application. The digital reality is different when it comes to insurance: most people hold multiple policies, yet few know exactly which risks are actually covered, where exclusions apply, and whether the price and benefits still align with their personal situation.
Baar-based K2G Holding AG aims to close this gap with MyGenny. A public preview of the AI-powered insurance manager is available now. The full operational market launch in Switzerland is scheduled for the week of August 17, 2026.
"MyGenny aims to become for our insurance what online banking has become for our finances: a digital companion that makes policies easy to understand and keeps an eye on them over the long term." Genadi Man, Chairman of the Board of Directors of K2G Holding AG
Your own policy as a starting point
Unlike a traditional comparison portal, MyGenny does not start with a general price inquiry, but rather with the customer's actual insurance situation.
Users can upload an existing policy as a PDF or photo. MyGenny organizes details such as premiums, coverage, exclusions, deductibles, and policy terms, and explains the contract contents in plain language. Subsequently, the platform is designed to compare available insurance offers based on defined price and performance criteria.
Depending on the selected package, MyGenny can continue to manage the policy, monitor key deadlines, and assist the customer with any subsequent changes or renewals. According to market analysis by K2G, MyGenny is the world’s first publicly accessible AI insurance manager that combines policy analysis, clear explanations, price-performance comparisons, access to regulated insurance brokerage, and long-term contract support within a single application.
Extensive experience with insurance AI
MyGenny is not an isolated new development. Its technological foundation is built on K2G’s long-standing experience with artificial intelligence, risk assessment, insurance data, and algorithm-based decision models.
For several years, K2G has been developing solutions for insurance companies, supporting them in analyzing complex data and making decisions regarding risk assessment, pricing, underwriting, and portfolio management. With MyGenny, K2G is applying this experience to a publicly accessible application for private customers for the first time.
"Artificial intelligence should not make insurance more complicated. It should reduce complexity, explain contexts, and help people make informed decisions." — Genadi Man, Chairman of the Board of Directors, K2G Holding AG
Operational launch with Swiss broker
The full operational market launch is set to take place in cooperation with a licensed Swiss insurance broker. K2G provides the technology platform and the AI-driven functions for analysis, explanation, comparison, and administration. The Swiss partner will handle—or assume responsibility for—the regulatory processes regarding advice, recommendations, intermediation, and policy execution, while also contributing the necessary professional expertise and licenses.
According to K2G, the contract documentation—prepared with legal counsel—is currently being finalized. Once the agreement is signed, the company plans to separately announce the identity of the partner and the details of the full operational market launch.
A product preview is already available, allowing interested parties and the media to get an early look at the user interface and key technological features. It does not yet represent the full commercial operation of all intermediation and policy execution functions.
The UAE to follow Switzerland
K2G views MyGenny as an extension of its corporate strategy: in addition to AI and data solutions for insurance companies, the firm is establishing a direct digital offering for private customers for the first time.
Following Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates are set to be the next market. This move is based on previously announced agreements—already signed—regarding the provision, implementation, and further development of an AI-based platform solution in the UAE. The strategic contract spans a five-year term. According to K2G, the technological components underpinning MyGenny are integral to this platform solution. Plans are also in place for future expansion into other GCC states and the Middle East. (K2G/mc/hfu)
