K2G Holding AG recruits former simpego CEO

BAar – K2G Holding AG is strengthening its strategic direction by bringing on board an experienced senior executive from the Swiss insurance industry: Patrick Eugster will work alongside CEO Arina Man to drive the company's development.

In Patrick Eugster, K2G Holding AG gains a proven leader with extensive experience in (digital) insurance, pricing, underwriting, product management, and strategic corporate management. From 2017 to 2025, Eugster played a pivotal role in shaping Simpego Versicherungen AG—serving as CEO and, at times, CFO—and was responsible for building the modern digital insurer. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions at Allianz Suisse, including Head of Product Management and Pricing and Head of Corporate Development.

Patrick Eugster earned his doctorate from the University of Zurich, specializing in insurance economics, and completed his dissertation *summa cum laude*.

K2G Holding AG views this appointment as a key strategic step toward further scaling its data- and AI-driven solutions for the insurance industry, according to a press release. K2G develops AI- and data-based technologies for insurers and InsurTech companies, focusing on pricing, risk modeling, portfolio analysis, and digital insurance processes. (pd/mc/pg)
